Program Description

Program Overview: Students will have a four month international student teaching experience following their US student teaching placement. This will include teaching in English to children in one of the following settings: elementary or secondary.

Students will develop an understanding regarding issues related to different cultures, societies, families, language, history, and education.

The preparation for the trip includes face 2 face and online activities. The online portion continues once placed in China. The school placements are in large cities throughout the country such as Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Wuhan. Student apartments are located very close to the school.
